Insides boil from frustration.
The heat spreads outwards,
pools in the fingertips,
weighing the body down.
Winds blow but do not cool.
Dry and scaly patches of skin
slough from the body, snake-like.
Heels bare the weight of unease.
Hours of night spent restless.
As drunkenness fades,
cold apathy surfaces
and sheets soon feel wet.
The poison tastes so good
Embrace of sullen numbness
An oil slick of bitter taste
to bury the deeply melancholic

The Heedlessly Ignorant
03:18
|

True horrors of the world vanish
in the eyes of the heedlessly ignorant
whose minds are wired by privilege and pride,
selfish souls in protective hives.
Intolerance to contradiction
of heinous beliefs and actions
paints the faces of clowns
fueled by cowardice and malice.
Retreat to a safe haven
rather than face opposition.
The growing revolution is
stronger than their hatred.

Bludgeoning Extravagance
03:24
|
|||
Raw soles on cement
Dirt caked on cracked heels
Flies touch down on dry skin
Saturated stagnation
brings a desire, animalistic
urge to destroy and harm.
To revel in the damage and pain,
things to pieces and flesh to pulp,
seems so extravagant.
To freely bludgeon
and bash with heavy instruments
at crushed, gurgling faces
would be a glorious reprieval
from days bled together over years.
Aging purposelessly,
poisoning a wasted body.
Perhaps fantasies should be made real
in one carnal rampage.
See and smell the flesh and blood,
the horror and disgust.
