A ball and chain in the deepest waters
Some rise with trust in dogma
Not I, for its transparency
What means have I to endure?

The darkness of philosophy
Cannot reject the soundness
Science uncovers vastness
I am but organic compound

Manic struggle engulfing
I crave connection, relation
But what of death imminent?
All of abstract dissolves

I feel I see everything
Though surely I do not

The whole drives me to hate
To disrespect and manipulate
Cloud my mind to forget
